Richard Day

Richard Day has a strong background in finance and has held various senior roles in different companies. Richard most recently worked as the Head of Finance at AMP starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Trade Ocean from 2020 to 2022. Richard also worked as a Senior Consultant at Symmetry Group from 2016 to 2020, and as a Commercial & Development Executive at GAC Laser International Logistics from 2017 to 2019. Before that, they were the Group Financial Director at CapitalGro from 2014 to 2016. Richard has also held positions at Thomson Reuters, ICAP, and SG Kleinwort Hambros, specializing in finance operations and financial control.

Richard Day has a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Property Economics, Tax and Law from the University of the Witwatersrand. Richard also holds a Pg Diploma in Property Development and Management with a focus on Property Finance and Operational Management from the same university. Richard is a Chartered Accountant with a degree from ICAEW. Additionally, they have completed an Import, Export, and Logistics Management Course at the University of Cape Town.
