Rugut Kibet Enock is currently working as the Director of ICT & Software Engineering at AMPATH Kenya, where they lead a team of software engineers to design and modify health applications. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Palladium: Make It Possible, collaborating with stakeholders to gather and translate user stories into operational specifications and designs for health informatics applications. Rugut has also held positions as a Lead Associate Software Developer at the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops, a Lead Software Developer at KEMRI-FACES Program, a Computer Programmer at CDC/KEMRI, and a Software Engineer at Ukall Limited. Rugut began their career as a Programmer Attaché at KEMRI/CDC KISUMU.

Rugut Kibet Enock completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on software development at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2014. Rugut then pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Rugut is working towards their MSc in Computer Science at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, starting in 2020.
