Niels van der Geld

Niels van der Geld is an experienced control and motion control engineer with a tenure at Ampelmann Operations since September 2012, where responsibilities have included the conceptual design of mechanical and control systems, PLC programming, and field commissioning. Prior to this role, Niels served as a student assistant at TU Delft in Industrial Design Engineering, offering support in Dynamics and Mechanics of Materials. Niels also held the position of treasurer for the Study Association Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, managing finances and organizing events. Early internships at Werklust Holland bv and Agrifac Machinery B.V. provided Niels with valuable hands-on experience in mechanical design and CAD drawing for agricultural machines. Niels holds a Master of Science degree in Biomechanical Engineering – Biorobotics from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Werktuigbouwkunde from Hanze.
