Senior Technical Account Manager at Amperity

Jason English has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason started as a Radio Broadcast Engineer at Sandusky Seattle Radio in 1998. Jason subsequently worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer and Quality Assurance Lead at Lionbridge between 2000-2004, during which they implemented a clear process for the development and refinement. From 2004-2006, they were a Program Manager at Lionbridge, where they managed third-party developers through Cingular Wireless' software certification program.

After Lionbridge, Jason worked at Ingeniux Corporation, starting in 2006. Jason held different positions at Ingeniux, including Customer Support Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and Technical Account Manager. As the Customer Support Manager, they implemented improvements, such as improved issue triage and standardized case closure templates, during times of rapid growth.

In 2013, Jason began working at Volusion, Inc. as Sr. Technical Account Manager and later as Enterprise Support Manager, where they led through transparency, arranged skills building training, and challenged their team to think through their situations. Jason facilitated the migration of Zendesk business rules away from Salesforce, among other milestones.

From 2016-2020, Jason was at Ingeniux Corporation again, where they served as a Business Analyst. Jason spearheaded the creation and documentation of operational "Guidelines, Not Gospel" for providing killer Support, and continued implementing scalable improvements during 230% customer growth and a 400% increase in caseload.

Jason's most recent position was as a Technical Account Manager at firstup.io from 2020-2022 and as a Technical Account Manager at Icertis from June to November 2022. Jason will soon start a new position as a Senior Technical Account Manager at Amperity starting in November 2022.

Jason English attended the Oregon Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1998, although it is unclear if they completed a degree or field of study. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
