Michael Paktinat

Michael Paktinat's work experience spans over 17 years in various technical roles across different organizations. Michael started as a Systems Specialist at The Ohio State University in 2005 and later became a Systems Engineer before leaving in 2013. Michael then worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Advantage Behavioral Health Systems for two years before moving to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia as a Systems Analyst in 2015. In 2018, they joined SailPoint as a Technical Trainer before being promoted to Senior Customer Technical Trainer in 2021. Michael recently joined Amperity as a Sr. Technical Product Trainer II in 2022.

Michael Paktinat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering with a focus on Information and Computation Assurance from The Ohio State University between the years 2003 and 2009. In addition, they obtained several certifications throughout their career, including ITIL V3 Foundations from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2016, and multiple certifications from SailPoint, including SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Professional in February 2022, SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Architect in December 2021, and SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer in September 2020. Michael also received Cribl LogStream Fundamentals certification from Cribl in January 2022.
