Extrusion Engineer at Amphenol Spectra-Strip

Nicholas Farfaras has a diverse work experience across multiple industries. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Customer Service Specialist at REI. In 2017, they became a Plumber's Apprentice at Farfaras & Sons Plumbing and Heating Corp., where they gained hands-on experience in installing and repairing plumbing systems, as well as remodeling bathrooms and kitchens. In 2018, Nicholas worked as an LSR Engineering Intern at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, focusing on liquid silicone rubber engineering. Nicholas then interned as an R&D Intern at Hollingsworth & Vose in 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Nicholas worked at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, first as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and later as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2021, they interned as a Plastics Engineering Intern at TE Connectivity. Most recently, Nicholas joined Amphenol Spectra-Strip in August 2022 as an Extrusion Engineer.

Nicholas Farfaras pursued their education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. From 2016 to 2020, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering. Following this, from 2021 to 2022, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Plastics Engineering from the same university.
