Juan Carlos MacEdo

Juan Carlos Macedo is an experienced engineering professional specializing in geotechnics and geomechanics. Currently serving as Jefe de Geotecnia e Instrumentación and Consultor Senior at Amphos 21 since August 2021, Juan Carlos previously held the position of Ingeniero de proyectos - Geotecnia y geomecánica at Geo-Logic Associates, Inc. from May 2014 to July 2021. Earlier in the career, roles included Ingeniero I - Geomecánico at Ausenco from April 2011 to May 2014 and Ingeniero geólogo trainee at Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde S.A.A. and HOCHSCHILD from 2008 to 2010. Juan Carlos holds a Diplomatura en Ingeniería geotécnica from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a Maestría en geotecnia from Universidad Nacional de San Agustin de Arequipa, and a degree in Ingeniería geológica from the same institution.
