Julia Mark

Julia Mark is the current Director at Ampled. Prior to their current position, Julia was a Piano Instructor at Merry Melody Music Academy from September 2015 to August 2018. There, they provided in-home piano lessons to beginner and intermediate level students, documented student progress and assessed needs, and fostered musicality, creativity, and diligence. Before their time at Merry Melody Music Academy, Julia was a Helpline Volunteer at Cambridge Women's Center from June 2014 to June 2016 where they provided emotional support and resource information for women calling the Helpline, interacted and counseled with women who visit the center, updated spreadsheets to track attendance demographics and anonymous Helpline data, and assisted with general maintenance of the center. Julia was also a Music Specialist and Director of Student and Teacher Happiness at Playful Tunes from September 2013 to December 2015 where they developed a preschool music curriculum linking music with emotion, storytelling, and cultural consciousness, lead Playful Tunes music classes at preschools, kindergarten, and elementary schools throughout Massachusetts, supplied proper equipment to other teachers in the company, and assisted in the creation of training materials (documents, videos).

Julia Mark's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music from Wesleyan University.
