Piyush Chak

Piyush Chak has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Piyush is currently working as the Head of Portfolio Risk Management at Amplifi Capital since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Data Science at TaskUs from July 2021 to November 2022.

Piyush also worked at IDFC FIRST Bank as the Lead Customer Service & Customer Experience Analytics from April 2020 to July 2021. During their tenure, they successfully managed an analytics team that achieved a monthly increase of 2% in the liability base and a 6% increase in the liabilities book. Piyush implemented customer persona strategies for liabilities and assets verticals, leading to incremental revenue of Rs 56 Cr per quarter. Additionally, they designed a rewards program for the debit card portfolio and a customer lifecycle for monthly statements. Piyush headed the customer experience analytics team, building real-time dashboards, analyzing customer survey data, and developing Datamart/Datalake.

Before that, Piyush Chak worked at YES BANK as the VP & Lead Card Portfolio Analytics from February 2019 to April 2020. Piyush also gained experience at Staples, where they held multiple roles including Manager Analytics, Project Manager, and Product Manager Ecommerce Intern. At Staples, they designed and implemented various analytical models and strategies resulting in significant revenue lifts and process efficiencies.

Piyush Chak's earlier experiences include roles at Northeastern University as a Computer Lab Administrator (Data Engineering), Fractal Analytics as a Senior Analyst, Analytics Quotient as a Senior Analyst, Computer Sciences Corporation as a Business Analyst, and TechnoValue Solutions Pvt. Piyush Chak obtained a Master's Degree in Information Systems from Northeastern University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, they completed their B.Tech in Computer Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Piyush also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained SSC and HSC degrees. Additionally, Piyush has obtained certifications in courses such as "Intro to Statistics with R: Introduction," "Intro to Statistics with R: Student's T-test," "Introduction to R," and "Machine Learning" from institutions such as DataCamp and Coursera Course Certificates.
