Torben Colberg

As Chief Medical Officer, Torben leads the medical and clinical services globally. With a team of highly skilled and rapidly deployable scientific experts as well as in-house capabilities, he ensures support to clients in biotech and any size pharmaceutical companies.

Torben joined us from Sanofi Genzyme, where he most recently was the VP and Head of North America Medical Affairs for Rare Blood Disorders. Prior to Sanofi, he was Senior Medical Director at Alnylam and Head of Global Haemophilia Network and Training at Novo Nordisk. Torben received his MD from the University of Southern Denmark and is Board-certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery. He received his Medical License after training in Minneapolis Minnesota and Copenhagen Denmark and holds an MBA from AVT Business School in Copenhagen. Originally from Bornholm Denmark, Torben currently resides in Miami Florida. He is multi-lingual and has published in a number of peer-reviewed journals.
