Joe Blaylock

Joe Blaylock is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Product Engineering Manager at Amsted Automotive since August 2018, overseeing a global team that supports key automotive programs for major manufacturers such as Ford and GM. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Senior Product Engineer at Nexteer Automotive from July 1999 to August 2018. With a distinguished 30-year career in the US Navy, Joe achieved the rank of Captain and served as a Surface Warfare Officer, completing various command tours and a combat deployment to Iraq, while also earning recognition as a Level 1 Joint Qualified Officer. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, obtained in 1987.
