Chris Kelleher, PMP has a strong work experience in supply chain, operations management, and logistics planning. Chris began their career in 2013 as a Transportation Project Manager in the US Army, overseeing commodity distribution and movement regulation for highway, rail, and air movement of personnel and equipment. Chris then served as a Senior Logistics Planner and Project Manager, responsible for short and medium-range logistical requirements supporting over 5000 personnel. In this role, they monitored key performance indicators and oversaw contract development and implementation for a $56MM training exercise. Later, Chris became a Senior Supply Chain Manager, leading a cross-functional team and serving as the primary supply chain subject matter expert. Chris was also a Senior Instructor, teaching logistics planning at different operational levels. Chris gained experience as a Senior Operations Manager, overseeing day-to-day activities and implementing employee self-development programs. Most recently, they joined Amsted Rail as the Supply Chain Director in 2023. Chris Kelleher, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology from Virginia Tech, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. In 2021 and 2022, they pursued a Masters of Logistics Management from Florida Institute of Technology. Chris Kelleher has also obtained certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and has received training from PM-ProLearn in 2023.
