Hannah de Bruin is a PhD student at Amsterdam UMC - Alzheimercentrum Amsterdam, focusing on tau spreading in atypical Alzheimer’s disease since June 2022. Prior to this, Hannah worked as a psychologist at Amsta, providing (neuro)psychological diagnostics and treatment in various care settings from April 2021 to February 2024. With a background in clinical neuropsychology and neurosciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University at Buffalo, Hannah has gained extensive research and clinical experience through multiple internships, including studying neuropsychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease and assisting in PET scans. Hannah’s early career also includes roles in care support and administrative positions within educational settings.
