Rachel McLendon

Rachel McLendon is an experienced accounts receivable professional with a strong background in medical billing and management. Currently serving as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator at AMSURG since 2022, Rachel oversees billing for multiple Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology Ambulatory Surgery Centers, as well as Anesthesia services. Prior to this role, Rachel worked at Forrest General Hospital from 2019 to 2022, managing accounts receivable for various physician clinics specializing in Urology, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. From 2004 to 2018, Rachel served as the Billing Manager for Northwest Gastroenterology Center at Digestive Diseases Center, where responsibilities included AR management, coding, and leading the billing and scheduling/insurance verification teams. Rachel’s career began at INTEGRIS Health as a Patient Service Coordinator III from 2002 to 2004.
