Stephen le Bel

Stephen Le Bel, CISSP has an extensive work experience in the field of cyber security. Stephen is currently working as the Director of Cyber Security Special Operations at AMSYS Innovative Solutions, where they manage security programs and provides consulting on security architecture. Stephen also develops reporting dashboards for threat hunting and investigations.

Before joining AMSYS, Stephen worked at SecurityKeys as a Security Architect, Software Author, and R&D Lead. There, they applied proprietary machine learning algorithms for cyber security operations and conducted research and development for behavioral model development. Stephen also specialized in software engineering for big data analytics.

Prior to that, Stephen worked at Ellucian as a Sr. Security Engineer, where they were responsible for daily vulnerability assessment, threat assessment, mitigation, and reporting activities. Stephen also conducted vulnerability scanning, monitored virus protection, and performed remote administration.

Stephen also has experience as an IT Security Consultant at Agilex Technologies, a Sr. IA Security Engineer at Brandon Technology Consulting, Inc., and a Sr. Computer Systems Security Engineer at Lockheed Martin. In these roles, they conducted security audits, developed critical reports, and worked on certification and accreditation of networks.

Earlier in their career, Stephen served in the US Army as an Information Management Officer, where they maintained computers for combat operations and played a significant role in developing a battle planning system.

Additionally, Stephen has experience as a self-employed professional in computer systems engineering and internet advertising. Stephen set up and maintained advertising servers, implemented strategies to optimize ad resourcing, and utilized Unix servers for email and banner serving.

Stephen Le Bel, CISSP, obtained an Associate degree in Digital Media from Full Sail University, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. They also attended St. Andrew's School in Wears Valley, TN, although the duration and degree obtained are unknown. In 2012, Stephen obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² as well as another CISSP certification from ISC(2). Additionally, in 2011, they obtained the Security+ CPE 2010 certification from CompTia.
