Maike Edens

Maike Edens has a diverse work experience history, starting in 2015 as an Administration Employee at Dedact for a two-month period. In 2016, they took on a Master Internship Abroad at Simulation, Imaging, and Modelling for biomedical systems, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, which lasted for five months. In 2017, they worked at Biomaterials & Tissue Biomechanics, Delft University of Technology as a Master Graduation Project participant, which spanned nine months. In 2018, they briefly worked as an Application Manager at HagaZiekenhuis van Den Haag for two months. Currently, since 2019, they are employed at AMT Medical BV as a Biomedical Engineer.

Maike Edens completed their education in a chronological manner. Maike started by attending Het Stedelijk Lyceum (locatie Kottenpark), where they pursued a VWO degree with a focus on Natuur & Techniek. Following this, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Design, which took place from 2011 to 2014. Afterward, they pursued a Minor Abroad program at the University of the Aegean in Product and System Design Engineering from 2013 to 2014. Subsequently, Maike pursued a Pre-Master program at Delft University of Technology from 2014 to 2015 in Biomedical Engineering. Lastly, they completed their education at Delft University of Technology with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2015 to 2018.
