Emily Jayne Higgs

Emily Jayne Higgs is an experienced designer currently working at Amtico since June 2021, where responsibilities include supporting product development, assisting in the creation of new laying patterns, and liaising with manufacturing departments. Prior roles include a design internship focused on market and trend research, and a graduate studio assistant position at Birmingham City University, which involved guiding students in practical design workshops. Emily holds a First Class BA Honours degree in Textile Design from Birmingham City University and has gained valuable experience through internships at Brintons, Dash and Miller, and Bristol Weaving Mill, as well as a long tenure as a Crew Trainer at McDonald's. Educational achievements include A Levels in Art and Design, English Literature, and History, alongside GCSE qualifications.
