Chuck Szovati

Chuck Szovati is an experienced civil engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering Civil at Amtrak since February 2010, where responsibilities include the planning and design of track and right-of-way owned and maintained by Amtrak. Previously, Chuck held the position of Principal Owner at Longitude Surveying & Mapping from January 2007 to February 2010. Chuck's expertise extends to surveying technology and geomatics, with a focus on planning and directing surveying crews to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects. Chuck earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Temple University, attending from 1980 to 1985, and graduated from West Deptford High School in 1980.
