Janice Beavin

Janice Beavin, CPM has a diverse and extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Janice is currently serving as the Senior Director - Strategic Acquisitions & Capital Projects at Amtrak, where they manage a team of procurement professionals and handles the acquisition of rolling stock equipment, technical services, and parts agreements. Janice also provides expertise and support for Amtrak's Capital Delivery Program.

Prior to their role at Amtrak, Janice worked at Bain & Company as a Global Procurement/Supply Chain Consultant and Bain Executive Advisor. Janice also served as the North America Energy Procurement Director at Saint-Gobain, where they managed a $200mm+ natural gas/utilities category, achieving significant savings and streamlining management of spend.

Janice has also held the position of Chief Procurement Officer at CertainTeed Corporation, a division of Saint Gobain, where they led the transition from decentralized to centralized procurement across multiple product lines.

Earlier in their career, Janice worked at Shell in various roles, including Global Head of Strategic Procurement for Static/Mechanical Equipment, Downstream Global Procurement Transformation PMO Lead, Global Category Manager - Catalysts, and Strategic Projects Manager - Procurement. Janice has demonstrated their expertise in managing large-scale capital equipment spend and leading procurement transformation initiatives.

Janice started their career at Elemica as a Product Manager, where they played a pivotal role in developing business plans and roll-out strategies for platform functionality.
