Gerhard Schweimayer

Gerhard Schweimayer currently serves as the Head of Risk Management for Amundi in Germany, overseeing various risk domains including Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, and Performance Attribution, with additional responsibilities for Investment Compliance during the integration of Pioneer Investments into the Amundi Group. Prior to this role, Schweimayer was the Head of Risk Management at Pioneer Investments and held leadership positions in risk management and finance at both the Savings Bank of Aichach and the Savings Bank of Cologne and Bonn. Early career experience includes roles in market risk control and financial engineering at MEAG and HypoVereinsbank, respectively. Gerhard Schweimayer holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Augsburg, alongside a Master's Degree in the same field.
