Matt Tsao

Matt Tsao, FRM&PMP, has extensive work experience in risk management and project management. Matt is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for North Asia at Amundi. Prior to this, they worked at BlackRock as a Vice President, where they covered all risk management aspects for BlackRock businesses in Taiwan. Before that, they served as a Senior Consultant at Kamakura Corporation, providing education and training on their system to clients. Matt also worked at Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd as the Head of Risk Analytics & Projects, where they managed the implementation of the "ERM system" and various risk projects. Matt started their career at Shin Kong Financial Holding as a Project Manager, overseeing risk measures consolidation and managing risk management projects. Matt also worked as an Investment Manager at Shin Kong Securities Co., providing research analysis and advising trading strategies, as well as a Consultant, providing corporate valuation and due diligence services.

Matt Tsao, FRM&PMP, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Finance from the University of Birmingham, which they obtained between 1999 and 2000. In addition to their MBA, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Chartered Securities Investment Analyst from the Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Association, ROC, a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
