Reeta Paakkinen

Reeta Paakkinen is a seasoned journalist and reporter with extensive experience in asset management, institutional investments, and ESG impact investing, primarily within the Nordic region. Currently serving as a Reporter for AMWatch since December 2018, Reeta has previously held roles at notable organizations such as Suomen Tietotoimisto STT, where reporting spanned domestic and foreign news, and IPE International Publishers, focusing on European institutional investments. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Editor for Hürriyet Daily News & Economic Review, Country Manager for Lumi A.S. under Tekir, and a Trainee in Communications at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. Reeta's career began at the Financial Times, where contributions included the launch of a dedicated magazine for Nordic Region Pensions and Investment News. Reeta Paakkinen holds an MSc in Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Modern Greek Studies with Turkish from King's College London.
