Chris Schroeder, CMP, CTA has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Chris is currently serving as the Director of Sales at Amway Grand Plaza since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at AHC Hospitality as the Director of Sales at the Amway Grand Plaza and Lead Sales Manager for a collection of hotels and resorts. In their role, they managed various hotel properties and also served as the National Sales Manager. Before joining AHC Hospitality, Chris held various positions at English Hills Country Club & Terrace, Brookshire Inn & Golf Club, and Royal Fork Restaurants, where they gained experience in operations management and restaurant management.
Chris Schroeder, CMP, CTA has a Certificate of Graduation from the AHC Hospitality Leadership Academy, which was obtained in 2019. Additionally, they attended Lansing Community College from 1986 to 1988, studying Business. In terms of certifications, Chris obtained the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) accreditation from the Certified Tourism Ambassador™ Program in February 2016. Furthermore, they hold the CMP/Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Events Industry Council, which was obtained in 2007.
