Joanne Clarkin-Sayers

Joanne Clarkin-Sayers has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Joanne most recently worked at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals as the Lead, Supply Chain Distribution EMEA. Prior to that, they were the Quality Manager & Responsible Person at Warburton Technology Ltd., where they ensured compliant supply and distribution of products to global markets. Joanne also worked at RGP as a Supply Chain Data Governance Consultant, leading a project to optimize the multi-variant supply chain data governance system. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals, MSD, and Schering-Plough BioPharma. Joanne has experience in supply chain, quality assurance, validation, and project management. Joanne has demonstrated achievements in process optimization, continuous improvement, and implementation of electronic quality documentation systems.

Joanne Clarkin-Sayers holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Industrial Biochemistry from the University of Limerick. Joanne also obtained a Masters degree in Supply Chain Management & Advanced Lean Tools from University College Cork (UCC). In addition, they have certifications in Project Management Techniques from Munster Technological University, Data Protection from the Irish Computer Society, and is a Fetac Level 6 Qualified Trainer. Further, they have completed a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program at University College Cork.
