Abhishek Murarka

Abhishek Murarka has a wealth of experience in performance and risk management, and manufacturing performance management. Abhishek started their career in 2005 as a Graduate Student at Rice University. In 2008, they joined Amyris as a Senior Scientist. Abhishek then progressed to Principal Scientist, Manufacturing Performance Management, PD, where they were responsible for developing and scaling three toxic products to scale, as well as global manufacturing data management, tech transfer support, performance analysis, continuous improvement and reporting. Abhishek then moved to Head of Performance & Risk Management, and finally to Senior Director, Head of Performance & Risk Management.

Abhishek Murarka began their educational journey in 1998 when they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Abhishek then went on to pursue graduate studies in chemical engineering at Iowa State University from 2002 to 2005. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in chemical and biological engineering from Rice University from 2005 to 2008.
