Mariluci Obata

Mariluci Obata has over 25 years of work experience. In 1995, they began their career as an Analista Contábil at CIA ANTARCTICA PAULISTA. In 1999, they moved to ROBERT BOSCH DO BRASIL LTDA as an Analista de Controle Econômico Pleno. In 2006, they joined INVISTA as an Analista de Custos Senior. Mariluci has been with Amyris since 2013, where they currently serve as the Plant Controller. In this role, they manage, analyzes, and interprets financial forecasts and operational results of the production plant, and manages corrective actions to address unfavorable variations. Mariluci also manages a team responsible for reviewing daily production entries, assists in reducing production costs, manages and implements monthly and annual inventory of all production units in Brazil, including CMOs, and supports the company in its tax and fiscal management.

Mariluci Obata completed a degree in Ciências Contábeis from Universidade São Francisco (USF) between 1995 and 1999. Mariluci then went on to pursue a Gestão em Controladoria, Auditoria e Tributos degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) between 2000 and 2001.
