Mohammed Arsalan

Mohammed Arsalan has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Mohammed started their career as a Reporter/Producer for Aaj TV, where they reported on daily events and helped in preparing news bulletins. Mohammed also arranged special stories and features related to the devastating earthquake in 2005. Arsalan then worked as a Reporter/Producer for Voice of America, contributing news and features on social and political issues, human interests, and entertainment.

Mohammed later joined CNBC Pakistan as a Reporter, and then worked as a Senior Reporter for GEO TV. In this role, they looked after interior areas of Pakistan, created stories, followed breaking news, and made packages of human interest. Mohammed also served as a Senior Producer at Capital TV, guiding associate producers in identifying news issues.

Arsalan had diverse experience as a Freelance Field Producer, working with foreign correspondents from various organizations such as BBC, ABC, CNN, Al-Jazeera, and more. Mohammed facilitated foreign journalists as a "FIXER" and acted as a liaison between the correspondents and local resources.

Mohammed then joined TRT World as a Planning Producer, where they led a team in generating future story ideas, maintaining forward diaries, and developing contacts with relevant organizations and guests. Currently, Arsalan is working as the Chief Correspondent (South Asia) for Anadolu Agency, based in Ankara. Mohammed brings their well-experienced background in media to this role.

In addition to their employment history, Arsalan is also the owner and director of M. Arsalan Personnel VideoTaping (MAPVT), a company that records and preserves memories, official meetings, and events through video and audio content.

Mohammed Arsalan earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari Institute of Technology, specializing in software. Mohammed studied at the institute from 2002 to 2006.
