Markus Hoyer has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Markus is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Analyx® since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Analyx GmbH from 2015 to 2020 as a Senior Project & Business Development Manager. Before joining Analyx, Markus held the position of Divisional Director Market Research at forsa Institute from 2007 to 2015. Markus also had a role as the Owner and Part-time Consultant at Sixtytwo International Consultants from 2005 to 2007. Markus began their career at McKinsey & Company in 2001 as an Engagement Manager and worked there until 2005. Markus started their professional journey as an Assistant Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble from 1997 to 2000.
Markus Hoyer attended the University of Bayreuth from 1991 to 1997, where they earned a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration with majors in Marketing, Market Research, and Organisation. In 1994 to 1995, they also studied Economics at the University of Deusto. Before attending university, Markus completed their A-levels at Gymnasium in Buchholz in der Nordheide, Germany from 1984 to 1991, with majors in German language, Biology, History, and Social Science.
