Rik Frank, Ph.D., has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biology and immunology. Rik has held positions at various companies, including AnaptysBio, Ambrx, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Affymetrix eBioscience, Ajinomoto Althea, Inc., GeneTex, Inc., and City of Hope. Subsequently, they joined the Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences, where they earned a Ph.D. in Immunology / Immuno-oncology, conducting research from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their doctoral studies, Rik Frank obtained a Certificate in Bioscience Management from the Keck Graduate Institute from 2008 to 2009, indicating their interest in the business aspects of the field. Furthermore, they acquired a Certificate of Achievement in Medicinal Chemistry: The Molecular Basis of Drug Discovery from Davidson College in April 2018.
