Rik Frank

Rik Frank, Ph.D., has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biology and immunology. Rik has held positions at various companies, including AnaptysBio, Ambrx, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Affymetrix eBioscience, Ajinomoto Althea, Inc., GeneTex, Inc., and City of Hope. In these roles, they have developed assays, designed antibody panels, managed research teams, and conducted research on antibody drug conjugates, engineered cytokines, and immunological assays. Rik has also completed a successful dissertation on tumor-specific delivery of therapeutic antibodies using neural stem cells. Dr. Frank has demonstrated expertise in antibody development, scientific research, and laboratory management.

Rik Frank, Ph.D. has an extensive education history in the field of biology and immunology. Rik began their education at Moore Middle School, although the specific timeframe is unknown. Rik then obtained their high school diploma from the University of North Texas between 1997 and 1999. Rik went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from UC San Diego, completing their undergraduate studies from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, they joined the Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences, where they earned a Ph.D. in Immunology / Immuno-oncology, conducting research from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their doctoral studies, Rik Frank obtained a Certificate in Bioscience Management from the Keck Graduate Institute from 2008 to 2009, indicating their interest in the business aspects of the field. Furthermore, they acquired a Certificate of Achievement in Medicinal Chemistry: The Molecular Basis of Drug Discovery from Davidson College in April 2018.
