Pete Reitz

Pete Reitz has worked for several companies over the years, beginning in 2006 with Greensoft Solutions (GSI) as a QA Technician. In this role, they built and executed tests for validating new client hosting environments, tested and validated high availability mechanisms for client environments, and assisted with client environment builds as a member of the implementations team. In 2007, they moved to Workforce Partnership Kansas City as a System Administrator. In 2012, they joined Oppor Co. (now part of ANATOMY_IT.) as a Systems Analyst, where they built and managed two generations of a custom application hosting platform for internal services on top of Google Compute Engine, and developed multiple Express.js based microservices for system integration and workflow automation within the organization. In 2022, they joined ANATOMY_IT. as a Developer, where they built and managed the third generation of an application hosting environment to automate routing, load balancing, resource allocation, configuration and secret management, DNS and certificate deployment to support internal services and automation. Pete also designed and built a dynamic metadata caching tool to streamline access to diverse systems and facilitate toolset integrations, and researched and prototyped a plan for deploying existing internal microservices and integrations directly to Google Cloud Build and Run toolsets.

Pete Reitz attended Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus from 1998 to 2000, before transferring to Penn State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations and Information Systems Management in 2003.
