Ben Travis

Ben Travis is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the life sciences industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of CalibreScientific, Inc. since January 2017, Ben leads a diversified global provider of life science reagents, tools, and instruments. Prior to this role, Ben was the Chief Executive Officer at Anatrace, overseeing its successful transition and management from 2013 to 2019. Ben's career also includes a tenure as the Life Science Reagents R&D Director at Affymetrix, where Ben played a pivotal role in product development and facility management. Early professional experiences include positions as an Adjunct Professor at Lansing Community College and as a Research Associate at GlaxoWellcome. Ben holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
