Role: Senior Data Engineer

Description:

At Anchanto, we know that the one of the keys to growth is a high-performing Engineering team. We are looking for a strong senior data engineer to lead data collection efforts to build our new set of products.

As a Senior Data Engineer for Anchanto’s data product, your day-to-day tasks will involve driving data engineering efforts – design and implement data collection workflows, ensure that junior members of the data collection team are adopting development best practices and conduct regular reviews of current data collection workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain stable, scalable and robust architecture for efficient data collection and processing
• Develop applications to enable scaling of data collection across multiple platforms
• Lead and guide junior team members
• Perform regular code reviews, setup best practices and development processes
• Assist in integrations with external data and proxies vendors
• Conduct technical interviews during the recruitment process

What You Need/ You have a track record of:

• 3+ years of overall experience of which at least 2 years of professional hands on development experience in Python and building robust data collectors
• Prior hands-on experience in designing, implementing and deploying of data collection systems using Docker and AWS Cloud Services
• Prior experience with improving processes and standards for product development
• Prior experience in building data collectors capable of bypassing anti-bot detection mechanisms
• Knowledge of eCommerce marketplaces would be preferred
• Well-organized and must be able to understand big picture
• Strong team player with ability to handle multiple products
• Self-motivated, results-driven individual, passionate about technology
