ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an Audit Supervisor within the Consumer Products Group at Anchin, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing audit engagements, providing guidance to audit teams, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the audit process. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the consumer products industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute risk-based audit plans for the Consumer Products Group.
  • Coordinate with the audit team to ensure timely and effective execution of audit procedures.
  • Review work papers and documentation to ensure compliance with audit standards and organizational policies.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to audit team members.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and experience.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and contribute to professional development plans.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the Consumer Products Group.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management in a clear and constructive manner.
  • Collaborate with clients to address concerns and facilitate the resolution of audit-related issues.
  • Ensure the quality of audit engagements by reviewing the work of team members.
  • Implement and enforce audit methodologies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the audit function.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and tools.
  • Proactively seek professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA highly preferred.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in audit, with a focus on consumer products or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $110,000 to $135,000 based on the individual’s experience level.
