ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an Audit Supervisor specializing in Technology & Professional Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and transparency of financial information within the rapidly evolving landscape of technology and professional service industries. You will manage audit engagements, assess internal controls, and provide valuable insights to clients. This position requires a deep understanding of technology-related risks, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage technology and professional services audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Perform detailed review of the team’s work to ensure quality and thoroughness, and the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Apply technical knowledge to research technical issues and participate in technical discussions relating to client assignments.
  • Provide effective day-to-day client relationships to meet their expectations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes within the technology and professional services sectors.
  • Apply specialized knowledge to assess the impact of industry-specific factors on financial statements and audit procedures.
  • Identify and evaluate technology-related risks associated with financial reporting.
  • Mentor and develop audit seniors, providing guidance on technical and industry-specific matters while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure audit work is performed in accordance with professional standards and firm policies while conducting quality reviews to enhance the overall effectiveness of audit engagements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of audit methodologies and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of audit experience with a focus on technology and professional services industries.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $110,000 to $135,000, based on individual’s experience level.
