Joey Perkins has a diverse work experience, primarily focusing on operations and manufacturing engineering. Joey started their career at Quality Industries in 2005 as an Engineering Technician III and gradually advanced to roles such as 5S Coordinator and Manufacturing Engineer, where they supported manufacturing processes and oversaw a team of Engineering Techs. In 2019, they joined Anchor Fabrication LLC as an Area Manager, responsible for product development engineering and soft tool areas. Joey later took on the role of Operations Manager before being promoted to Director of Operations in April 2022. Overall, Joey Perkins has demonstrated expertise in operations management, manufacturing engineering, and process improvements throughout their career.

Joey Perkins began their education in 2016 at Motlow State Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Joey successfully completed their studies in 2021. During their time at Motlow State Community College, Joey also obtained a certification in Siemens Mechatronic Systems Assistant in June 2018.

After completing their associate degree, Joey Perkins continued their education at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in 2021. Joey is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Joey has not yet completed their studies at MTSU. Additionally, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from MTSU in January 2018.
