Daniel Fernandez

Daniel Fernandez has a strong background in legal counsel and management roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP until 2014. Daniel then joined TPG Special Situations Partners, LLC as a Legal Counsel from 2014 to 2016. Following that, Daniel worked at Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C., where they held various positions. Daniel began in 2016 as a Director and Associate General Counsel until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Managing Director and Associate General Counsel before assuming their current position as Managing Director and General Counsel in March 2022.

Daniel Fernandez completed their undergraduate studies at Harvard University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree (A.B.) in Government. Daniel then pursued higher education at Yale Law School, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2003 to 2006.
