Mateo Ramos Merino

Mateo Ramos Merino has a diverse work experience in research and development roles. Mateo started their career as a Research and Development Engineer at Universidade de Vigo in April 2014 and worked there until February 2015. Mateo then joined atlanTTic - Centro de Investigación en Tecnoloxías de Telecomunicación as a Predoctoral Researcher from February 2015 to March 2017. Following this, Mateo continued their research work at Universidade de Vigo as a Predoctoral Researcher with funding from the Xunta de Galicia from March 2017 to February 2020. During this time, they also held the role of a Predoctoral Researcher with funding from Universidade de Vigo from March 2017 to October 2017.

In December 2018, Mateo joined Universidade do Minho as an R&D Engineer and worked until July 2019. Mateo then returned to atlanTTic - Centro de Investigación en Tecnoloxías de Telecomunicación as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Data Scientist from March 2020 to November 2020.

From December 2020 to March 2023, Mateo held the position of Cofounder, CEO, and CSO at DATASALUS, where they focused on developing custom Artificial Intelligence solutions, Natural Language Processing, and overseeing production operations.

Most recently, Mateo has joined Ancora as a Senior AI Engineer in April 2023, concentrating on AI-related projects.
