Pamela D. Burton has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Pamela D. began their career in 1999 as a Call Center Supervisor at TSYS, where they supervised operations and managed a team. In 2005, they transitioned to Wachovia as a Teller Manager, overseeing a team of tellers and ensuring financial accuracy. After two years, Pamela joined Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield as a CSR III, where they responded to customer inquiries, analyzed problems, and maintained a database. In 2017, they took on a role as a Weekend Leasing Consultant at RAM Partners, LLC, assisting with leasing activities. Currently, Pamela holds the position of Business/General Education Program Director at Ancora Education, a role they have held since 2015.

Pamela D. Burton holds multiple degrees and certifications in various fields. In 2011, they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Technical Management with a focus on Health Services Management from DeVry University. Following this, in 2014, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a concentration in Health Services Management at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. In 2015, Pamela completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, also from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Continuing their educational journey, in 2016, they attained a Master of Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Additionally, they earned certifications from the NHS, becoming a Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist and a Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist, both in 2016.

Expanding their skills further, Pamela pursued additional certifications in diverse areas. In 2020, they obtained a Certification in CPR/AED from the American Heart Association. Pamela D. also completed a Certificate program in Fundamentals of Online Teaching from Adjunct World during the same year. Additionally, they received a Certificate in Apple Teacher from Tennessee State University.

Currently, Pamela is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, with an anticipated completion year of 2023 from Tennessee State University.
