Ursula Powidzki

Ursula Powidzki is currently the SVP, Connections & Insights at Ancora Partners. Ursula has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on affordable housing and real estate investment.

Powidzki started their career at MuniMae (MMA) in 2004 as Principal, Corporate Credit and Portfolio Management. In this role, they were responsible for the management and analysis of the company's credit portfolio. Ursula also worked on developing new business relationships and expanding the company's footprint in the affordable housing market.

In 2007, Powidzki left MMA to join MuniMae/International Housing Solutions as Managing Director, Portfolio Mgmt and Investor Relations. In this role, they were responsible for leading the analysis of the South Africa housing market for a capital raising effort, as well as supervising due diligence for potential investors. This work led to investments of $200M for the South Africa Workforce Housing Fund. Additionally, they established the key business infrastructure—including legal services, insurance, HR, telecommunications and IT, marketing and hiring of staff—for this start-up international venture.

Powidzki left International Housing Solutions in 2009 to join Cross Street Partners LLC as VP, Advisory and Economic Development. In this role, they advised clients on real estate development projects and economic development strategies. Ursula also managed the due diligence process for new investments, as well as portfolio management for existing investments.
