SEO Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Team Lead. As the SEO Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving SEO strategies, managing specialized teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of SEO best practices for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of SEO specialists providing guidance, coaching, and support.

• Assign tasks and responsibilities, set clear objectives, and ensure the team's performance meets or exceeds targets.

• Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to team members, helping them enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Identify training needs and opportunities for professional growth within the team.

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with clients' business goals and objectives.

• Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and optimize website content accordingly.

• Oversee the development and execution of SEO initiatives, including website audits, content optimization, technical SEO improvements, and link building.

• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and backlink profiles.

• Utilize SEO tools and analytics platforms to gather insights, track progress, and identify opportunities for optimizing SEO efforts.

• Prepare regular reports on performance, providing actionable recommendations for improving website visibility and search rankings.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO.

• Ensure compliance with ethical SEO practices, search engine guidelines, and industry regulations.

• Encourage knowledge sharing, best practices, and cross-functional learning within the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of SEO specialists, preferably in an agency or digital marketing environment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including Onsite SEO, Technical SEO, and Link Building.
• Familiarity with SEO tools, analytics platforms, and industry-standard practices.
• Strong understanding of website usability, user experience, and information architecture.
• Good understanding of other digital marketing channels including SMM, PPC, Email, etc.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics; technical literacy is required, including understanding code (HTML/CSS), WordPress, web architecture, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
