Alicia Acker

Alicia Acker, CCSP, GCDF, CRWE, serves as the Career Services and Leadership Development Coordinator at Blackhawk Technical College since April 2015, where responsibilities include facilitating professional development opportunities for students and overseeing the Certificate of Professional Development program. Previous roles at Blackhawk Technical College include Career Services Specialist and Student Engagement Specialist, where Alicia promoted student leadership and engagement. In addition to a thriving career in academic support, Alicia owns and operates Ali Acker Photography, specializing in on-location portrait photography. With extensive experience in event coordination, development assistance, and educational support roles, Alicia has contributed significantly to various organizations, including United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Dane County and Andean Health and Development. Alicia holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, along with a certificate in Social Media Marketing from Cornell University.
