Youssef Mahmoud

Youssef Mahmoud has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Youssef started their career in 2019 as an Information Technology Intern at EJADA, where they gained experience in working with IP systems and troubleshooting LAN issues. In the same year, they also worked as a Biomedical Engineer Intern at Siemens Healthineers, where they assisted in assembling and calibrating medical devices and conducted circuit analysis for repairs.

In 2021, Youssef worked as a Junior Designer - Electrical at Smith + Andersen, where they assisted in the design of electrical systems for different projects. In 2022, they were a Hardware Engineer Co-op at Alpha Technologies, where they programmed systems and learned embedded programming and PCB design.

Currently, Youssef is working as a Design Verification Engineer at Andes Technology Corporation, engaging in effective communication with peers, analyzing CPU architecture, resolving engineering issues, and verifying design functionality and performance.

Youssef Mahmoud began their education in 2017 at The University of British Columbia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Youssef completed this program in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Youssef obtained various certifications from Codecademy. These include certifications in Intermediate JavaScript, React, Git & GitHub, HTML, JavaScript, Python 3, and CSS. Youssef received these certifications between the months of March and June in the year 2022.
