Alejandro Zapata Arango

Alejandro Zapata Arango serves as the Executive Director and CEO at Portafolio Verde, a consultancy specializing in innovative solutions for Sustainable Development, since August 2005. Additionally, Alejandro is involved with various organizations, including Diario EL PAÍS as part of the Network of Sustainability Experts since February 2016, and USAID as a local partner since December 2022. Alejandro holds multiple affiliations, such as with ANDI and Proantioquia, and has leadership roles in Animal Bank and Comunidad Ciclo Siete. An advocate for sustainability, Alejandro is a B Corp Ambassador with Sistema B and has co-founded Invictum Capital. Alejandro's educational background includes degrees in Environmental Engineering, Global Markets Management, and Executive Management from prestigious institutions.
