Tom Hoffelder

Tom Hoffelder has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry.

Tom most recently served as the Director of Manufacturing Support and Innovation at Andis Company, where they managed a team of engineers and skilled tradespeople. In this role, they were responsible for developing new production processes, managing the capital budget, and driving process capability to achieve cost reductions.

Prior to that, Tom was the Operations Manager at Liberty Coach, where they oversaw the manufacturing of luxury motor coaches and managed a team of employees.

Tom also served as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Cree, where they led a team in support of a multi-shift assembly operation and promoted a zero incident culture.

Tom has experience in startup companies as well, having worked as an Operations Manager at LED Industries, where they directed all aspects of product development and production.

Before that, they worked at ACCO Brands as a Quality and Engineering Manager and a Production Manager, managing teams and coordinating quality issues.

Tom began their career at General Binding Corporation as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, where they focused on the development and launch of new equipment.

Tom also spent time at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, supporting the assembly and testing of aircraft.
