Tim Harkins

Tim Harkins is an experienced educator currently serving as a PreK-5 Math Coach and Professional Development Educator and Trainer at Andover Public Schools in Massachusetts since September 2002. In this role, Tim designs and implements professional development classes and workshops focused on math, science, and technology integration. Additional experience includes positions as a Digital Learning Coach and a teacher for 2nd and 5th grades. Tim has also worked as a Fitness Coach and Spin Instructor at Spark Fitness and Tennis Club since July 2022. From January 2008 to January 2012, Tim was part of the MCAS Development Committee for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, reviewing content questions in English Language Arts and Science, Engineering and Technology. Prior to that, Tim was involved with the Boston Museum of Science as an Engineering is Elementary Pilot Teacher and Training Consultant and served in various roles at the After School Club and as a Camp In Instructor. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Simmons University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
