Maite C. Colón

Maite C. Colón is a seasoned legal professional specializing in civil litigation and consumer protection. Currently serving as Sr. Counsel at Andrade Gonzalez LLP since November 2023, Maite previously held the position of Senior Litigation Associate at Knight Law Group, LLP from October 2017 to November 2023. Key responsibilities included supervising the Federal department and managing a substantial caseload in Federal Court. Maite's extensive experience also includes significant roles at Centurion, LLP as an Associate and Director, providing legal counsel to government agencies and multinationals in Africa, as well as serving as a Legislative Advisor for the Department of Sport and Recreation. In addition, Maite has contributed to various pro bono initiatives, including work with the ACLU of Puerto Rico and the Clinic for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Discrimination at the University of Puerto Rico. Maite holds a J.D. from Universidad de Puerto Rico and furthered legal studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the University of Cambridge.
