Daren Matsuoka

Daren Matsuoka is a Data Science Partner in Crypto at Andreessen Horowitz since February 2021, bringing extensive experience in data and analytics. Prior to this role, Daren contributed to Silicon Valley Bank from November 2014 to February 2021 on the venture capital investment team, managing data initiatives across multiple funds totaling $4.5 billion in assets. Daren's earlier experience includes positions at Morgan Stanley, where Daren participated in the Financial Training Program and interned in Financial Training and Global Wealth, as well as a Fund Accounting Internship at State Street, focusing on trade processing and net asset values. Daren holds a degree from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2014, and graduated from Cupertino High School in 2010.
