Matt Williams has a strong and diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Matt recently joined Andrew Brownsword Hotels in 2022 as an Executive Head Chef. Prior to that, they worked at The Star Inn Sparsholt from 2014 to 2022, starting as a Sous Chef and eventually being promoted to Head Chef. Matt gained experience as a Chef de Partie at Whatley Manor Hotel from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they worked as a Sous Chef at The Dial House Hotel from 2011 to 2013. Matt Williams' education history includes completing their GCSE at Llanfyllin High School from 1999 to 2004. Matt then pursued a degree in Catering and Hospitality Service, earning an NVQ from Coleg Powys from 2004 to 2005.
In addition to their formal education, Matt has obtained various certifications. In 2003, they achieved a BTEC diploma at the Public Services Level 2 from BTEC Universities. Matt has further certifications in Silver from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Level 3 Food Safety Supervision and Level 3 Allergen Management from Highfield. Most recently, in 2023, they obtained Emergency First Aid certification from First Response Training and Consultancy Services Limited.
