Reuben Haupt

Reuben Haupt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Reuben started their career as a Machinist/CNC Operator at Brady Manufacturing in 2004. From there, they worked as an Apprentice Electrician at BYU-IDAHO Electrical shop from 2008 to 2010.

In 2011, Reuben gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Fluke Calibration, followed by an Engineering Internship at Varian Medical Systems in 2012. During this time, they also served as a Volunteer Representative for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2006 to 2008.

Reuben then joined Penn State University as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2012 to 2014, where they focused on Design for Human Variability at the OPEN Design Lab. Reuben was responsible for developing and verifying anthropometrically correct digital human models, leading industry collaborations, and deploying improved models through web-based applications.

After their time at Penn State, Reuben joined Rockwell Automation in 2014. Reuben participated in the Associate Engineer - Leadership Development Program, where they gained technical and business experience through rotations in different departments. Notably, they worked as a Development Engineer from 2016 to 2019, leading projects focused on the design of electronic components and conducting mechanical analysis.

Most recently, Reuben has been working at Andrews Cooper since 2019. Reuben started as a Mechanical Engineer and quickly progressed to the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer and Team Lead. In this position, they serve as the technical and project lead for a multi-discipline embedded engineering team. Reuben provides direction and leadership, manages projects through multiple development phases, and supports development throughout the full product lifecycle. Reuben is skilled in BOM management, PLM systems, and working with overseas partners and teams.
