Samuel Heard

Samuel Heard is a Mechanical Engineer with experience in mechanical design from concept to production in a fast-paced work environment. Samuel began their career in 2019 at Andrews Cooper. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Apollo Video Technology as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Theirresponsibilities included collaborating with electrical engineers, firmware engineers, product managers, QA, and production team members to design products for transit and rail environments with emphasis on shock and vibe, water and dust ingress protection, and EMI immunity. Samuel also created engineering drawings for manufacturers, customers, and installers, and occasionally traveled to customer sites. From 2015-2016, they were a Project Team Member at Seattle University Senior Design Project.

Samuel Heard obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University in 2016. Samuel also received an Engineer-in-Training certification from NCEES in January 2016.
